This opening apparently represents breach of an agreement (even a handshake gentlemen's agreement, as asserted by another poster) between Joe Vuskovich and the creator of J. Gumbo's.
Next time I see Joe I'll ask him. If he says yes, I'll never visit any J. Gumbo's.
From the sound of this email, food won't be served until tomorrow. This means if you're boycotting J. Gumbo's then tonight is the last night you can enjoy Mike's beer collection! Better hurry!

The one thing I know is that no broken handshake deal nonsense is going to get between me and the taps at J. Gumbo's. Besides, if there was a deal and it was broken, it that Mike's fault?
I'm not trying to pick a fight, nor am I saying anyone else has to agree...sometimes a man just has to choose who to stand by.
If Joe's getting cheated in this deal, I'll stand by him. If a percentage of the local franchisee's sales go to J. Gumbo's corporate, there's only one way to make sure none of my money goes there.
