Monday's Five Ws (and One H)

Who is going to BadaBoomz tonight for $1.75 pints?!

What do you think of the design for the new Dunkin' Donuts at the former Roselyn Bakery in downtown? Opinions seem to range from "Cool Retro Look" to "AHHH, my eyes!"

When will we finally see Brugge Beer in bottles? Sounds like it won't be too much longer. (Be sure to check out all the other updates from yesterday at Brugge Blog, including a mention of DIG-B!)

Where will L'explorateur end up downtown? Got any recommendations? Let Neal Brown know over at his blog, Babelfish Tartare.

Why haven't I bottled my tripel yet?! The sooner I bottle it, the sooner I can drink it. Seriously, I should get on that...

How was your weekend? I celebrated my nephew's first birthday outside in the gorgeous weather with Two Brother's Domaine DuPage. That was my first taste of a beer made in the French style called Bière de Garde. Two Brother's version was really easy-drinking, with a medium malt body and a little kick of hops at the end. It's not a particularly common style here in the US, but I liked it enough that I'm going to keep my eye out for others.

I will be at Badaboomz tonight to meet to meet with the planners of the Hops for Pops beer festival planned for Father's Day weekend. The fact that they had 1.75 pints seemed to seal the deal on where the meeting would take place.

I have actually toured Two Brother's brewery. It is about 20 minutes from where my dad lives outside of Chicago. It was a pretty small operation but was cool. They even ran a homebrew supply store at the time. Of course this is going back about 6-7 years now, so who knows what's changed. All in all I think they make some really good stuff.

If your at Badaboomz tonight, maybe I will see ya there. I will be in the work duds.. meaning tie still on :-(

We'll be at BadaBoomz as well. I'm curious if it's going to be packed with the NCAA championship AND $1.75 beers.

We transferred our amber cerveza into the secondary with a batch of peppers this weekend. Only a few days until the chaos is unleashed on the bottles...

I'll be there for a quick pint and dinner with the wife before heading north to a friend's house to watch the game. See y'all there.

What time are people planning to go? We'll probably be there around 6:30, definitely by 7. For anybody that I've never met, I'll be wearing a Yankees hat and *[geek alert]* a t-shirt with the symbols from the countdown timer in Lost.

(if you don't know what that is, I don't want to meet you....j/k!)

We'll probably be there closer to 7:15, we have a few things to wrap up at home first.

I will be there sometime between 5:30 and 6 tonight for the meeting. Just look for the big guy with the buzz cut hair and goatee and a polka dot tie today :) And I do know the countdown timer so we are all good!
