Photos: Fairbanks Hall Completion

Fairbanks Hall appears largely complete. Its official opening is scheduled for September but from the look of the parking lot -- yes, unfortunately we have a brand new, enormous, gated surface parking lot to go with this building -- it seems that there are already quite a few people working there. Below is a look at the exterior. You can read more detailed information about the building and compare these photos to earlier construction photos here.

I'm not sure if there will be public access to the interior of this building but I'll see if I can get inside to capture some pictures in the future.

Shhhh, I never said this, but they are moving people into the building right now and the front security desk isn't always manned....

I am scouting locations for a photo shoot, and we need a few locations that are hospital settings, this might be perfect. Did you get any images of the inside? Do you have any contacts at that location?

Unfortunately, the few times I tried to go in, the building has been locked. I'm not positive, but I think it's not open to the public. Haven't tried in a while, so that might have changed.

Also, just wanted to clarify that this building isn't actually a hospital, though it is partially owned by Clarian. It's basically an office building for Clarian officials and the IU School of Medicine, though they do hold a small number of Med School training classes there.

The beige building cross the street is the Clarian Pathology Building. But again, that's not a hospital either. It's just laboratory space for pathology testing.
