Zing: Urban Times reports that Zing's opening date goal is late July or early August. The source of the July 1st goal that I reported was the person that just happened to be locking the doors at the end of the day while I was taking pictures. He seemed pretty well informed, but I'd go with Urban Times (they appear to have contacted Zing's owner).

J. Gumbo's: More info on the conversion -- Indianapolis Monthly's The Dish is reporting that BadaBoomz will close this weekend and reopen next Thursday, May 15th as J. Gumbo's. The good news? BadaBoomz smoked wings will carry over to the new menu.
